WP Rocket: How to Cancel Auto-Renewal (And Why I’m Leaving After 6+ Years)

Post summary: Check the video below to see how to cancel WP Rocket auto-renewal — but lemme tell you real quick why I’m ditching them after sticking with ’em since 2018.
How to Cancel WP Rocket Auto-Renewal
👉 Peep the video below to see exactly how to cancel your WP Rocket auto-renewal and save yourself from the yearly ass-rape.

I’ve been rollin’ with WP Rocket since 2018. Back then? Decent deal, solid caching, no drama.
Now? Man, it’s turned into a proper circus.
First, they decided to scrap the unlimited license — even for folks like me who already paid for it. That’s some shady-ass move. You pay for something “unlimited”, and a few years later they’re like “nah, we changed our mind”. Fuck that.
And don’t get me started on the price hikes. Almost every damn year, you log in and boom — surprise! It’s more expensive, again. Just bend over and pay.
As a freelancer running hundreds of small-ass sites for tiny biz clients, I ain’t got time or budget for this bullshit. My clients pay me once, and I give ‘em 2 years of peace. No subs, no sneaky fees. That’s the deal. And WP Rocket’s random ass renewals? Totally killin’ that vibe.
But oh wait — there’s more.
When something breaks (which happens more often than it should), their support doesn’t fix the plugin.
Nah — they send you a fuckin’ “helper plugin” like some kinda duct-tape solution. Bro, fix your plugin, don’t toss me patches like it’s 2006.
The docs?
A damn jungle. Messy, outdated, and half the time it doesn’t even match what’s in the UI. You gotta be a mind reader to find what you need. You need to manually exlude plugins, which they offer you in the list on web. Why don’t you add it to the plugin? WTF?!
And the CDN?
Not even included. You pay premium money for the plugin, and if you want to use their CDN, they’re like “that’s extra, bro”.
Get the fuck outta here.
Where I’m Going Instead
I’m probably movin’ to FlyingPress.
Clean AF, fast, solid docs, and what you pay is what you pay — forever. No price hikes, no shady renewals, no helper plugin crap. Just a caching plugin that actually works and respects your wallet.
Look — if you’re tired of the games, the greedy-ass pricing, the fake “fixes” and upsells, do yourself a favor and bounce. There’s better shit out there made by devs who actually give a damn.
We ain’t got time for this. Peace.

Your support not only makes me drunk but also greatly motivates me to continue creating content that helps. Cheers to more discoveries and shared success. 🍻
